Emily is currently filming an exciting new series for Amazon Prime which will air in 2022. She is most known for her role on The Next Step (seasons 6 & 7) as Presley, the feisty young dancer with big goals (CBBC, CBC, NBC Universal, Netflix). Emily also appears in the famed opening audition scene in the Netflix film Feel The Beat starring Sofia Carson (Disney's Descendants). At the age of 12/13 she was Anne's double on Anne with an E (season 1) hired by Moira Walley-Beckett which aired on CBC and Netflix worldwide; a great learning experience with some of the best actors and directors. Emily has appeared in several commercials, short films and on magazine covers since the age of 5. She also enjoys creating the occasional vlog when she has time; her skills behind the camera and in content creation are also very strong.

Nominated for two Joey Awards in 2019 and three in 2020 - one for her self-directed music video for Warner Music Canada to Bebe Rexha's I'm A Mess and a second for her role as Presley on The Next Step - Emily is determined to continue to impress and entertain audiences of all kinds.

A dancer at heart, Emily began dance lessons at the age of two but soon took a liking to gymnastics. She found her way back to dance at age 7 and since then trained for 10 years in the elite company full-time competitive program at Canadian Dance Company. Training 25 hours per week in all genres and competing at 5 regional competitions and 1-2 national finals each year, Emily managed a very busy schedule while attending high school full time as an honour roll student.

Emily's acting training includes both private and group classes at LB Acting Studios, Second City, and Armstrong Acting Studios. Her musical interests include singing, guitar, ukulele and piano.  She has performed in various theatre productions including Hairspray Jr. (Amber), The Little Mermaid (Flounder), and The Aristocats (Marie). In her spare time she enjoys singing covers and writing her own songs - check out her cover of heyJ's Take Me . Now entering post-secondary studies, Emily will be pursuing her love of acting in the United States to continue to build on her experience.

Other credits:
Professionally, Emily has been acting and modelling since age 5 when she first booked the cover of Today's Parent magazine.  Emily has always been an outgoing, confident girl with a bright smile, a love of interacting with people and that 'it factor' in front of the camera. In addition to her work on The Next Step and Anne, Emily appeared as a dancer/actor in Hallmark Channel's TV movie A Nutcracker Christmas.  Other credits include commercials for American Girl, Cineplex Odeon, Brand Power, Energizer, YTV, Barbie/Mattel, Walmart and more. She has also been a brand ambassador on social media for Five Dancewear as a Club 5 model, Tan Swimwear Co, Ali & Liv Swimwear, LovingTan, Garnier Canada, Call It Spring, NYX, Justice, Forever 21 Kids, Ivivva by Lululemon, Gem and Company, Zahara Swim, Second Skin Costumes, and Honeycut Dancewear. She works for companies she believes in and wants to help promote: she doesn't like to be considered an influencer as she is much more than this. Although she's accomplished much at a young age, Emily is only at the start of her journey, and she's very excited for what's next!

Last but not at all least, Emily is a supporter of social causes and has a few that are close to her heart - including Plan Canada where she and her family have adopted a foster brother and sister.  4Ocean, Oceana, Because I Am a Girl, and World Wildlife Federation are also charities in which Emily has taken an interest.
